IRIS has released a new IRIS UMETRICS – NSF Publication match, related NSF publication source files, and accompanying documentation (available here: https://iris.isr.umich.edu/research-data/2019datarelease-nsfpub).
Similar to the NIH publication crosswalk shared with the annual data release this spring, this is an award-level publication linkage, not an individual- (publication author-) level linkage.
This supplemental release includes three files (‘nsf_pub_xwalk,’ ‘nsf_pub_source,’ and ‘nsf_pub_source_raw’) saved under the ‘release2019’ schema in our SQL server. The crosswalk includes a list of 9,796 NSF awards received by 29 IRIS member universities and about 50,000 NSF-funded publications associated with these awards.
