Here is the CMT Uptime check phrase

IRIS will continue to meet the research needs of members and the scientific community generally during the COVID-19 outbreak. We are monitoring the situation and have made some adjustments to our operations:

  • All staff will be working remotely for the coming weeks. We are still receiving emails and will maintain normal operations to the best of our abilities. Please continue to reach out to irisdatarequests@umich.edu for questions about data access, and IRIS-info@umich.edu for general questions. Please refer to our staff webpage to contact us individually.
  • The U.S. Census Bureau’s Research Data Centers, including the one on the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor, are closed indefinitely. We also expect the virus outbreak will significantly slow the flow of data from the Census Bureau to IRIS. Therefore, we anticipate a delay in releasing the next IRIS Employee Profile Report, which was originally scheduled to be distributed at the end of March. We are working on determining the most feasible date to release that report.
  • The IRIS Board of Directors election has been postponed until the fall. There will be two open positions. Please contact Nancy Calvin-Naylor at nbirk@umich.edu if you want to submit a nomination. For more information, please see our previous mailing about the election.

We will keep you updated on other possible changes at IRIS, and will continue to work hard to provide you with data to help understand, explain and improve the public value of research and higher education.
