IRIS is hiring an Assistant Research Scientist to work with IRIS faculty and staff on projects to measure and analyze the impact academic research has on the development of scientific knowledge, individual scientists’ careers, and the health, prosperity and well-being of society.

The Assistant Research Scientist will be primarily responsible for data analyses, preparation of research papers, reports, and analytic datasets and will, with other faculty, oversee the work of relevant staff, student, and post-doctoral research analysts. They will be expected to contribute to the development, submission and completion of grant proposals for federal and non-federal research funders such as the National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
