Here is the CMT Uptime check phrase

From local purchases of research-related goods and services to the creation of a STEM-trained workforce, the effects of university-based research on local, regional and state economies are hard to overstate. Yet the impacts of research institutions can often be overlooked by legislators and other decision-makers when competing interests are at stake.

The Institute for Research on Innovation and Science (IRIS), a nonprofit consortium of leading research universities, is working to change that. Learn how a group of Texas public universities used IRIS tools and data services to raise their profile among state lawmakers at an upcoming webinar featuring President Lawrence Schovanec of Texas Tech University and Rissa McGuire, executive director of the Council of Public University Presidents and Chancellors.
