Industries of Ideas: A prototype system for measuring the effects of TIP investments on firms and jobs is an NSF-funded project to develop a new, data-driven way to measure the economic impact of federal investments in research and technology.
IRIS, the Ohio Education Research Center at The Ohio State University, and the Social Science Research Council are partners in the new project.
The project will develop a people-centric way to measure economic growth in emerging technologies, starting with the artificial intelligence and electric vehicle sectors in the state of Ohio.
